Tyler Perry's TBS series "House Of Payne" will end production this year after a successful run of 222 episodes. To help fill the void, Tyler Perry is creating a new series for the network based on characters from his Why Did I Get Married movies called "For Better or Worse."
Talking about the new series, Tyler said:
“Even though it will be sad to say goodbye to House of Payne, I’m really looking forward to exploring new territory with For Better or Worse.” Working on "House of Payne" taught me a lot about what it takes to make a successful television series and I’m looking forward to applying that experience to "For Better or Worse.”
The new show will chronicle the life of a married couple, with Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith reprising their roles as television anchor Marcus and salon owner Angela and will target young adults.
And last night in Hollywood, US WEEKLY hosted the Hot Hollywood Party at Eden.
Tatyana Ali was there.
And so was actor Tristan Wilds.
